Peoples.... just wondering if this is the right stick for my engine (1275 block eng # 12YDTAH8684) there is a metal cylinder that sticks out from the block a couple of centimetres and the whole shaft is roughly 15cm long. Is it right? Do you need more pics? ![]() ![]() |

that looks like mine steve im not sure if my rubber plug comes out as well at the bottom does it say: _______________________________________________ |MIN| |MAX -------------------------------------------------------------------- ? coz thats what mine says |

It depends. If you have a plastic dipstick tube they usually take the flat type dipstick with the cap that goes over the plastic. ![]() |

![]() Doc.. the tube is metal and would be about 15cm long approx. |

There were a few different ones in the metal tubes- that looks like one of them. As long as it (almost) reaches the bottom, and seals OK in the tube, don't sweat it.. ![]() |

Cool Doc... will stay with that one then...... was just worried that it would not be giving me a correct reading and i would not know when the oil is low or not....... |
