Peoples.... just wondering if this is the right stick for my engine (1275 block eng # 12YDTAH8684) there is a metal cylinder that sticks out from the block a couple of centimetres and the whole shaft is roughly 15cm long.

Is it right? Do you need more pics?

It depends. If you have a plastic dipstick tube they usually take the flat type dipstick with the cap that goes over the plastic.

Doc.. the tube is metal and would be about 15cm long approx.

There were a few different ones in the metal tubes- that looks like one of them.

As long as it (almost) reaches the bottom, and seals OK in the tube, don't sweat it..
