Laguna Seca is a great track, I visited it in 1991 (wow that long ago!) It is built on a hill, a bit like Bathurst but without the long straights.

which is more daunting....the corkscrew or the dipper??? i've always wondered :?

The Dipper is not very daunting as you are already slowed down from the Esses so it is just another corner in a series.
With the Corkscrew you are flat out over the top of a hill and you have a blind left hand corner that drops away. The entry is the daunting part.

I have raced at Bathurst and I had a big prang at the Dipper and put the car on top of the concrete wall :shock:

Good thing the wall is there- it's a bloody long way down..... and lotsa trees too! :wink:
