You won't find any on the shelf rails for this conversion. Jack, aka "Smokie", who is on here somewhere has fitted MX5 seats in his Moke. (His old seats are now in MY Moke.) Suggest you PM "Smokie". ![]() |

Monster, You can buy the rails from either of the two Australian MX-5 places, MX-5 PLUS in Brisbane or MX-5 Mania in Sydney. MX-5 seats will fit best if you swap sides, driver to passenger. The backrest adjuster sticks out so put them towards the middle and the seats will fit down into the "well". To get even more room I removed the last bit of plastic cover over the end of the tilt adjuster. The seats butt against each other here so it isn't noticeable. My rails mount to adaptors then to the car. Seats are fully adjustable. The adapters were made for me but I then cut them to bits to make the seats sit as low as they should have. Pics would only show how not to do it. Very strong but UGLY. Wire up the speakers in the head rest & happy Moking. |

I got MX5 seats in my clubman I got the rail from http://www.japperformance.com/ and lucky you are in Sydney I got mine for $40 I think..., then got some brackets made up. The seats were cheaper than 1 rail (1 was missing the rail) |
