Is it easy to fit a set of standard inertia reel seatbelts to a deluxe?

Yes..But...some states require differnt things I gues...Mine are out of my old Alfa 33 and we have never had a problem with them....but you should fit new one's.

I'd guess others have purchased/used other's but they are a dream other than the normal belts

I fitted new standard Clubby ones in my `70 matic, they will fit a Deluxe.
As long as you don't run Clubby seats- those will foul the reel.
That's why Barney only has standard lap/sash ones..

The ones I got for the 850 from Supercrap were listed as "BMC Mini - All models" (there may have been a date range

Mike,

I don't thimk they were original ones, i asked at supercrap and they told me they don't sell them at all anymore.

I bought Klippan ones from Auto One and got inertia's for the front and lap sash for the rear, got the whole set for $330, but that was with a discount

It was the cheapest deal i could find.

Dan

Try Hemco in Ballarat. They did custom inertia front belts and standard lap sash rear for my import Corona much cheaper than the off-the-shelf items in Auto One etc.

http://www.hemco.com.au

The big advantage with Hemco is you can specify exactly how you want the belts to be - type, colour, length, buckle length, type of reel cover, even inertia reel angle! [/url]
