 Post subject: Tyre profile

The wheels from the moke are 5.6 x13 but I have idea what the profile for the tyres are. The ones that came with the car are four different profiles.

Assuming you are running a standard 4.1 diff, 165R13, 175/75R13 or 185/70 was standard dependant on model. But you can run pretty much what you like. A lot of people seem to use 175/70R13

I'm running 185/60R13, as the lower profile gives a good compromise between cruising speed and acceleration with the Auto's gearing.

bnicho how much did the 185/60/13 cost and what brand are they..???

The 185/60R13 are Yokohama. I can't remeber what type, can tell you tomorrow if it's important.

I didn't buy them new, bought them off a guy at Bendigo swap meet a couple of years ago. He told me they'd done two laps of Phillip Island on a Honda Civic when the the engine blew. Still had the knobby bits on the treads. :)

BTW: 185/60R13 won't fit a Mini - fouls on the radius arm bracket.
