It's a bit different. But also a bit pointless. The extra wheels add rolling resistance, and is an extra set of tyres to be replaced when the tyres wear out. No real need unless you are carrying large amounts of whatever Moke owners like to carry...?? |

I was was going to say where the second wheel was
Intersting to see the wheels but cant see much reason for it..may as well go for 13's insteat like to see the wheels otherwise |

At one stage there was a Queensland company making double wheel adapters for 4WD's that you could offset an inch or so to supposedly give the tyres more bite in very loose sand or mud . All it did was make it run like a camshaft and shake the bejeesers out of things . They did a Moke version but if the front was too low they fouled the guards or at the least tore the rubber guard extension thingy off ..... That's what I thought this was going to be at first but the rear wheels look different and dodgy , all I can guess is it was either for looks or someone was towing or carrying a heavy load in the back . Even in loose sand I've never had a problem with the rear's bogging down , the front always digs itself in before the drag from the rears gets to be too much . |
