Czerial u may be able to help, on my sunshine my front seats are two tone vinyl, not gold circle cloth insert bits and the photos of urs look like they hav the cloth? are mine stock?

next i have 2 choke cables - was this just fitted to alll minis?

i dont have a stock radio, and is it worth trying to get an original one, or should i just put a cd player in?

and lastly behind my thermostat housing it has a ???casting number??? that reads 6 J6 is this anything special....

your seats from the photo look original mate, there should only be one choke cable on the LH side of the steering colimn, and on the other side there should be a now to adjust your dash lights.

By two choke cables, do you mean each with there own handle or like one that I struck in an LS I owned that also had two choke cables but connected to the one handle. The second of the cables (inner and outer) was only about 20cm in length and tucked behind the insulation on the bulkhead. It certainly appeared to be factory fitted.

it has 2 choke cables, that are exactly the same length, they look exactly the same (style, width, age etc) i pulled it out from near the carby, it wasnt/isnt connected to anything... but when i pull out the choke it pulls both cables????
