G'day guys.............on my restoration project 850 the current engine (which isn't the cars original block) has a decal with "fireflash" on it, it's an old decal and i'm assuming its been there awhile. Does anyone know the beginnings of this decal, I've seen one on a Morris 1100 motor pic a little while ago, was it an engine reconditioning firms brand much like a "Gem" engine?

Here's a pic see what ya's think

Can't really help other than to say I've got one too, so it is probably an Australian company. I think it came off a Morrie 1100 at nick-a-part (back when those sort of cars went into the yards rather than being sold to specialists)
