Does anybody now the maxiumum fuel/air ratio in a swept volume before saturation/precipitation that will provide complete burn? I need it as a metric for a Fuel Injection system that I am programming.

I am after the lowest practical lamda number

Not sure what you are after really but air/fuel ratio is considered normal and good at about 12-1 about as lean as you want it and 10-1 is getting a bit rich and these are are for a warm reading, idle readings can be leaned out but this is dependent on what you are trying to do i.e meet emisions standards or just tune for smooth running and power

It also dpends on what type of ECU you are using and what level of adjustment it will allow and at what rev increment and what it controls and can read

11.8 as stoichimetric rings a bell for some reason, but my fuel injection expert mate is skiing in Wyoming for the rest of January, so I can't ask him.

That ties in with what feralsprint said so it seems to be rght.

Stoichiometric ratio is 14.7 : 1
but from a practical point in a mini you should be aiming around 13:1

About 10:1 seems to be about the point that saturation occurs
