Post subject:  coil set up

hey
im only guessing this because it seems logical but could be wrong,
the wire coming from the ignition switch is carrying a pos+ charge, which then goes to the pos+ on the coil, a lead then runs a large positive spark to the dissy and off to the engine. mean while on the inner side of the dissy the neg- charge from the dissy is going to coil neg-, from there the wire goes to either to a ground or to the tacho,

i have heard 3 different set ups from about 5 or 6 people and i thought i had this worked out, i'll try and draw up a diagram to show guys what im going on about.

almost correct the only thing wrong is you don't earth the negative side of the coil that is what the points are doing which is what cause the spark. other then that you are spot on.

i dont see why not... as long as the coil is connected correctly now you know how to do it i think it would be fine.. looks quite good there actually
