hi, i'm woundering where it's possible to get a set of rimflow valves for a 1275 head. what would be the expected price for a set of valves exhaust or intake. thanks |

www.minispares.com search rimflow ![]() I run them in Barney, the wife's car- because they got sent to me by mistake!! ![]() ![]() I think on a road car their benefits are overstated, the special groove on the head of inlet valve carbons up. ![]() |

If they were , racers would be running them. And no, most are not. They are heavier, and more expensive too. Stock `AE' brand valves from Karcraft etc are fine, even for racing use. Just back cut the inlet valve heads as per Vizard's book. 21/4N S/S race valves are OK too but need bronze guides or K-liners for use with unleaded fuel. I run these valves in my 1360. ![]() |
