Hi As the title says, is the white knights "apline green" an engine enamel? I was told in another post that it is a similar colour to the original engine colour. Also where can i get it from? Cheers Ryan |

its not engine enamel, but it doesn't matter - clean the block properly and etch prime it, and it'll be good. No need for fancy engine paint... |

Engine blocks and heads seldom get past 100C anyway. ![]() |

That's what I've got as well, holds well and is easy to replace when touch ups or additions are needed to be painted |

I couldn't find Alpine Green in the colour chart at Bunnys so I got Forest Sage in the Dulux brand who also make White Knight and someone on here mentioned it was the same colour. |

Alpine Green is available in White Night as a hammered finish. It was available in flat, but I can't see it on their website. http://www.whiteknightpaints.com.au/product_colour/image/84/AlpineGreen.gif?1148629651 |

You may find the rust guard tougher. I used to restore stationary engines as a kid, and the best stuff I ever used was killrust. ![]() |
