Hay, it's not about the car, it's not about the venue, it's about the people that come here. Peter Dwyer, Mayor of Hay NSW.

Morris Minor World, Barney St, Nth Parramatta.
Brad paid about $82 total recently for 2 fwd clutch plates, the gasket, and a front gasket too (so we could adjust the bands).

I have the special service tool (copy of) to hold the clutch assembly in place whilst cover is refitted.
You're welcome to borrow it.

Automatic box stripping details are all in the Leyland Black Book.

Are these special order parts or anything complicated?
Just wondering if I should order a set of those bits to keep on the shelf
for a rainy day?
:D

No they do normally stock them, these plates are the first thing that wears out on a `matic box usually.
It's possible to modify the fwd clutch assembly to take 3 plates not 2.
Also, if you use the latest top/reverse clutch plates instead, they have kevlar facing.
See http://www.austinamericausa.com/ and click on `technical advice'.
