Probably due to the huge success of the mini and its popularity, there have been a number of hybrid mini's produced in smallish numbers. Seeing the topic on the terrapin made me think about the subject. There have been a few kits that are based on a mini, and some interesting variations to the well known models. I have seen Mad Matt's Monarco roof. (they were originaly made in very limited numbers) Its an awesome looking thing, perfect for someone wanting something that bit different . Then theres the Marcos, A lot of people newer to minis wont even know of these little gems.
Anyone got info or pics on hybrids? will be interesting to see what we can come up with.

Jeff,
About 12 months ago I met a guy who had a pelendini convertible, apparently the only convertible made as the few pelendini's were all hardtop. He wanted about 3 k for the car which needed a lot of work. Nice looking hybrid though. No idea where to get pics of it though, perhaps someone else knows of these things.
