Was anyone around driving? it was so hot that: -The pedal rubbers got so soft they just slipped off the pedal -The adhesive used to glue the carpet in started to melt and carpet was coming off the firewall and tyre side walls -The radiator which usually runs at 85 degrees 100% of the time, actually boiled over! -Driving around with the windows down felt like a fan force oven! the air coming in was hotter than the air inside the car! |

Seems odd eh. We haven't really had any 'Hot' days yet. I think the highest we have gotten this Summer in Brisvegas is 31. |

How is it today though JC , should be warming up , we're mid to high 30's so far but on the news tonight they'll be telling us it's 29 again because the oficial weather station is right behind the dunes at the airport and is always a lot cooler than anywhere else in Coffs ... |

![]() Keen my a** ......... I forced you to bring Lillee over and yes I think we both were pretty nuts to go driving at all. Only time I remember in my LS or Lillee is was slightly cooler was hooning around Canada bay with the wind off the water. Was a good day none the less despite the fact we only fixed one Mini that day... speaking of which , Mark I haven't forgotten to post the pics I'm doing them tonight. |
