not all seats will fit! make sure there is enough room when they are fitted between the 2 seats and the door bins. I have aerotech seats in mine with suzuki rails modified to fit my mini, you can get rails made for minis, but think there around $150 each. I know the cobra clubmans fit nice, there slim and hug you. May get a bit uncomfy after a few hours. |

Im runnin a pair of Sparco Sprints, mounted on modified Cobra seat frames designed for the Mini. They just fit, the seats touch the door frame on either side of the car. They are fixed seats, as in they dont recline. Not the type of seat you want to be sitting in every single day driving to work. Once your in, u kinda dont wanna get back out. They can be uncomfortable on long drives to. Not a cheap seat either!!! |

I'm running a Cobra Trophy in mine, on a custom base- it doesn't slide but I have the 3 stock Mini mount positions and 2 vertical tilt holes in it. It tilts forward... well, sort-of.. ![]() It clears the door bin OK, there's even room for the inertia reel mounted under the door and the 3 point clip-in harness. ![]() |

Mnimarc, I'm running two SAAS fixed back buckets on SAAS rails with custom mounts. They are a really small seat so there are no size issues. Except for the fact my arse has expanded at a significant rate since I bought them. Seats owe me roughly $300 each, rails $170 and install including mod plate for harnesses was $320. Saw one of the same seats on EBAY recently for $10, albiet in shirthouse condition. This is them http://www.autoconcepts.com.au/prod_seats.asp?productID=4. Really good seat for a mini but you need to be able to fit into it. Where are you in Bris? |

Picked up a driver's side Recaro at Geelong Swap a few months ago. No headrest, no runners and it's a bit dirty, but the upholstery is very good (brown). $15 - bargain!! I'm gotta get it steam cleaned, then try recolouring it black with spray-on fabric dye. If that does not work, I'll get it retrimmed. I've had luck finding headrests to fit yet. The only problem is that to fit it into the van I'll have to move the battery. |
