Post subject:  rear radius arms removal

ive been trying to take apart my rear subframe so that i can rebuild it.

im havin trouble takin out the rear radius arms. is there a trick to removing BOTH pivot shaft nuts? i can only remove one, and when i try to remove the other, the whole shaft just keeps turning.

also, the bracket on the outer end of the pivot shaft has been WELDED to the subframe. i dont think its supposed to be that way (according the gregorys manual, it's supposed to come off). is it?

The plate which is on the out side with the Pin goes though and bolts with the nipple for Greasing..No should not be Welded :?: Interesting

Are you sure you got all the bolts off their are four in total...2 inside as well as out underneath the car..easy to miss if you have never been down thier...Send Me a Pm if any dramers...if its welded on....You will have fun

On a related note, what's the tool for doing up the 19mm nut on the inside of the subframe (on the inside end of the trailing/radius arm)? The brake line gets in the way as does the subframe. I've tried 19mm spanners, sockets etc but I'm sure there's a better way. The car's off the road at the mo, but I should torque it up before I go too far...
