Can you get replacement spring rings etc. I had the local mechanic take out the bearings from one of my swivel hubs. In the process hes twisted the spring ring quite badly. Was wondering if i can get a replacement etc ![]() |

i think hes talking about the spring inside the bearing rubber seal. Not sure if you can get just the spring but im sure you can get the seals, which include teh spring. |

I don't recall it being that wide... but I haven't stripped one for a while. Does it go between the inner bearing's outer ring, and the inner seal? By inner I mean the engine side of hub.. ![]() Called a spacer- seal to inner bearing. OK in my book for a drum hub, it's .229" wide. p/nho 21A1307. I would have some here in dead hubs... ![]() For an S or 8.4 disc hub, it's .094" wide. p/no 2A4361. sorry no have got. ![]() |

For a drum hub- S/H is probably your best bet, Padstow Pirates would have them, for sure. No Karcraft don't list it. If you want I'll look tomorrow and PM U if I have one. Weights SFA- I can post it. |

Another way is get some 2.5mm steel tie wire and bend it into a circle. I mean, this thing IS just a bloody spacer- doesn't really DO anything once assembled. Wouldn't matter if it was .090" or .100". ![]() ![]() You could probably blacksmith the old one to be OK. given enough beer.. ![]() |
