Post subject:  Twin HS2 Fast Idle Screws

Hi

When I got my mini I never used to pull the choke on cold starts (apparently running rich).
Anyway now that the car is tuned properly I have to use the choke on every cold start and my SUs dont have screws for the fast idle, the one that hits the cam lobe when choke is pulled.

Anyone knows the size of the screws or a shop where I can get a hold of these?

I dont really wanna buy another set just for the screws.

Cheers

You probably won't have much fun finding them over the counter, the poms liked to use odd threads like British Armstrong (BA) and the like which are notoriously hard to get new. It's like a fine thread used for instrumentation and the like. They are still used and made, it is simply much easier to find a mechanic with box of old SU bodies and start there. Or call Midas in Sydney, they are the SU specialists.
