As much as you hate to let one go, you have the imminent arrival of yet another new one to look forward to :D

Cheer up! Some of us are not allowed any more cars.

Steve knows more but as im aware its one of the earliest (on record) Wood travelers or country men (dont know my round nose names) with matching numbers and interersting factory body locations on fuel tanks etc.. its a rare beast!

Yes tears I'll look for the roundie Chris

Morris woodies or with all steel sides are travellers with a doulble ll, spell check hates the word.

Austin woodies or with all steel sides are countrypersons

When the new cars arrive I will post plenty of pics in the other cars section.

We are still keeping Dorothy and possibly Bruizer

Tim I'll need progress pics and when touring tassie which will be soonish I'd love to stop by.

Condolences Steve and Mikey :(

It is a great car but your next arrival will give you just as much enjoyment I am sure of it! :D

If you ever need a traveller / countryman fix - Cracker is always available for a drive (well he will be when he is done) and it also means that you two will have to come down to Adelaide to visit

It is on the Passenger side, inside the car. This was only done on very early woodies. (Looks much nicer in my opinion). The filler neck is in a similar place to the sedans.

Cheers

Steve - I know your pain mate - I was the same when I sold an MGA. I couldn't stand watching it drive away, and I wasn't convinced it was going to a good as home as I had hoped or it deserved.
But sounds like yours is mate, so take heart - it will be loved and enjoyed I'm sure. And you'll get to play with the new toy.
God we get attached to 'em don't we! :?
Good luck to you Tim!

steve, i feel your pain aswell, the 1st was a tow away car, off to the wreckers it was a good car, my 1st ever car never to be driven again,

my second was my celica, i was going to sell it and had hoons galore come around and thrash the balls off my pride and joy and i would never hear from them again,

but it sounds like its going to a good home and another coming so you ve got it made,

Ben, does Java allow SMS shorthand syntax corruptions.??? Many on here can barely type but almost all can and do write a full word, reasonable spelling and proper punctuation.

We are hoping to add another MG or two to the one we already have, we are out looking and have our eye on a few cars.

We are keeping Dorothy the 850 which I don't think I could ever part with and the MG Midget and possibly the mini K panel van depending on how things pan out.

I am exploring historic rallying and racing more and more and really enjoy older cars 1930's to late 50's.

Within the Austin motor vehicle club there are loads of people also attached to the Historic race and rally scene, its really interesting and very enjoyable and I'm going to explore that more.
