Hello people.

I noticed the other day that my carbies (2, 1/1/4 inch) were hissing excessively at me. I do not think that they used to do this and it is really quite noisy. I couldnt see where it was coming from and dont know what it is.
I also seem to have a fair loss of fuel efficiency with this find, but, no loss of power or anything.

It's probably nothing. But what could it be?

Maybe a split vacuum hose somewhere, loose carby parts somewhere or manfold gasket....you need to try and isolate the noise....you did remember to put the elements back in your air filters....changed anything else under the bonnet :?:
