Does any one know what this thing is?
It was fitted under the drivers seat, with a (EXH) light on the right hand side of the dash.
It was off a 1990 Jap mini and the wires from the box under the seat going into the engine bay were cut,so I'm not sure were the wire went to in the engine bay.
I hope my photo works as I'm still not to sure now to do it!

can't see the photo.. you need to swap the part where it said filename with the actual filename of the picture..

but at a guess maybe its an imobilliser?

I tried correcting your BB code, removing the junk and it still no workie...did you upload it correctly?

Is the car a manual? It might have originally been an auto, and that was part of the auto trans controller?!?

Was it connected to the seatbelt? Maybe seatbelt warning light?

Thanks JAM for posting the photo!
It was not connected to the seatbelt and the seatbelts had no wires coming out of them
The light (EXH) would come on for a second when I turned the key from off to IGN and that was all it did.

EXH - exhaust?

Maybe it was part of some OS pollution gear?
