In QLD rego stays the same. If ur lucky they mite charge u more just for the sake of it. U will just need to get an engineer to do up a mod plate and change the seating capacity from 4 to 2. U will need to advise ur Department of Transport, and ur insurance company.

I cant see why they would have any drams, provided its all legal.

U also need to get the engineer to approve ur 2 front seats if they are not standard.

But still, if ur worried about insurance, u should still have ur front seats engineer approved if they are custom mounted......

i "removed" my rear seat making it a 2 seater becoz the sub was pretty much the whole seat and i jus didnt want anyone ruinin that so i had to get a modification plate to say it waz a 2 seater car, cost me $50 and didnt have any trouble with insurance and rego, all they do is change the capacity to a two seater car. too easy
