Just thought I would get an idea on the best fan to use in a mini?

I know there are those plastic yellow ones, I have even seen plasic white ones also ive seen the 4 blade metal ones..

So whats the best?

I vote for the original 16 blade metal one. :D
I find them quieter than the yellow plastic ones, more durable than the white plastic ones, and neither the 1293 or the 1360 ever overheats, even in traffic on a 40C day. 8)

i would prefer the yellow or the white blade over the metal one.... lol save weight and less drag.. :wink:

I use a 6 blade steel fan on my cooper s, never had a drama, the 16 blade plastic fans are next, they seem to flow more air than the 16 blade steel type.

PS - I've taken my engine fan off, just running thermo now, will report on outcome after next wakefield run.
