to work out fractions to decimal you divide the first number by the second so 13/16 equals 0.8125

The RWD mazda 121 master cylinder that I use has a 13/16 bore

0.70" ~45/64" = 17.78mm
0.75" = 3/4" = 19.05mm
0.8125 = 13/16" = 20.64mm

A bigger master cylinder will give more fluid movement. This will have a couple of effects, mainly the pedal will 'take-up' quicker & the pressure required by your foot will be higher. The area difference between the 0.70" and 13/16" suggests 25-35% more force required on the pedal for the same line pressure.

I don't know if your application would suit either cylinder size, best to consult a mechanic or brake specialist before changing anything.

Regards

Daniel
