Most people simply stop turning right to solve this problem. If they need to go right, they take 3 lefts and that gets them going in the correct direction. Try it, really works. |

The only way to stop it is to buy a locking fuel cap from the uk they don't leak. Steve ![]() |

Hahaha - hanra Okay - I have been through this many times over the years - simply, the best caps are the original non lockable caps supplied by the factory and then replace them as the seal begins to wear. The second trick is not to squeeze the absolute maximum amount of fuel into the tank. Stick the petrol filler spout right down the neck of the tank and stop filling the tank the first time the pump clicks off. |

Easiest way is like Mike said , don't try and fit too much in , remember the top of the tank is right at the filler so put the bowser nozzle all the way in and only fill it to the first click (bowser cutout click) and you will have to go really fast around a right hand bend to make it leak . |

Maybe you could just put a fuel cell in and be done with it.....but then there would be problems with venting it....... |

i was looking at the rover tanks and they have a little clicky thing on them and the one way valve, can you change the necks over, |

No , neck is welded to the tank and I think the flappy thing needs the rover neck to mount on . Another point though is to make sure the flat of the neck that the cap seals on is flat and smooth , i.e, no gouges in the paint that will stop the seal from working and no dents that will do the same thing . |
