I sprayed some components today in satin black WOW!! ![]() Forget gloss black parts people.....satin black is pure brilliance!! ![]() Who else has painted stuff satin black and feels the same? |

satin black was the original black colour used on lucas starter motors and generators (And many other bits aswell but i dont know) It isnt gloss black and it isnt flat black, somewhere in between. And Anton I agree, it looks great ![]() Matt |

I agree. A satin black finish will almost always look better than gloss. Being of a lower sheen it masks any imperfections to the applied media, giving a softer, yet deeper look. |
