I sprayed some components today in satin black

WOW!! :shock: How good does stuff look in that colour!!!

Forget gloss black parts people.....satin black is pure brilliance!! 8)

Who else has painted stuff satin black and feels the same?

satin black was the original black colour used on lucas starter motors and generators (And many other bits aswell but i dont know)

It isnt gloss black and it isnt flat black, somewhere in between.

And Anton I agree, it looks great :D

I agree.

A satin black finish will almost always look better than gloss. Being of a lower sheen it masks any imperfections to the applied media, giving a softer, yet deeper look.
