Wiffy just got home and Morris was not sounding correct at all.

It had only just started around the corner from home...
All looks well except a very strang Tak Tak Tak sound with the rev's and idle coming from number 4 side  its not the tappets..

Idea Guys

Are you sure it's not the tappets.. I had one go bad on my son's Clubbie, turned out to be one dud late model POS sintered rocker..
I just took another one off the pile in the corner- now it's fine again!

If you think the problem is further down, pull the plug leads off one at a time- to see which cylinder.

Is it running ok other than the noise. i would hate to think it being a serious problem like dropping a valve seat or the like. Just an idea but is the manifolds all nice and tight, could be a something round there. It's hard to say.
Cheers

I dont think its the tappets.

Spark plugs ...(useing Spare plug)..on all cylinders wont spark unless it is able to jump between an earth (body)
I have checked all earths Battery and body to engine :?:

Blown manifold gasket?

I mean just pull each lead off in turn- it will miss- see if the noise goes away. That will tell you which cylinder.

Tighten all the manifold nuts- they usually come loose a week after assembly...
