Hi again. My mini which I am currently in the process of getting into a roadworthy state has no left hand door lock, it's a 67 deluxe, I'm wondering if this is how they were manufactured? Would seem strange to me if this was the case, but in any case, is the fix just to hunt down a left hand door for the round noses that DOES have a lock in it? (p.s I'm not even sure if this is a roadworthy issue but even if it isn't I'm going to want to lock it).

Do you mean no key operated lock or no lock altogether ? There should be a lock there that's worked by a little black post near the rear lower window corner , maybe the posts gone but the holes still there ?
