Whilst on holidays I came across this old warrior which seemed to be permanently parked outside the resort I stayed at. ![]() A couple of things intrigued me, the newer style dash and the Peugeot service badge. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

French cars very prominent over their due to their involvement during the war (Dien Bien Phu, Foreign Legion etc). Probably explains the Pug sticker. |

I went to Ho Chi Minh city first, then to Mui Ne (about 200 kms or 4 hours drive from HCM city). The French influence is everywhere due to their colonial past, and I'm guessing that Peugeot delivered / serviced the moke in Vietnam. |

what really intigues me is why you would need a Fan in a moke???? I used to have one and as I recall there is plenty of ventilation!! |

Maybe to disperse the exhaust fumes coming thru the rust holes in the floor ![]() Not sure how effective the interior light would be though............... ![]() |

Very interesting!! Dash cluster and steering wheel look Japanese to me. Body looks like a little wheeler with lots of mods. Flat rear end but has the raised pressings on the side boes and a small filler on the top. It also has the removable grille. Maybe Cagiva or Portugese made with lots of customisation? Might even be a replica? ![]() |

I'm really envious about the bonnet fit - much better than mine ![]() That rules out it being a Leyland ![]() |
