I went in search of some rubber grommets to fill a few holes in the 850 and to replace the origional ones that had perished. Clark Rubber was my first thought but I nearly died when I saw a 15mm grommet was going to cost me $3.15 EACH

There is no way on earth I will be paying $2- $3 a grommet, where else is there that has them for a cheaper rate or can you buy a kit similar to an "O-Ring" kit???? :?:

Try a panel beating supply place or an autolec , they normally have them in the multi-size kits for a damn sight less than that .

Try Grippy Rubber 253 Victoria Road Rydalmere - 9898 9688
You know the bridge that goes over the railway line just after the Uni at North Parra. As you coming over the Crest take the first left and the left under the bridge then left again
Not sure on the prices but they will have every thing you want in one store

If grippy's isn't convenient or whatever, try spectrum rubber in dunheved industrial estate. I seen heater hose in Clark rubber with spectrum stickers on the box so I suspect they supply SOME stuff to clark rubber. I've found them to be reasonably priced over the years.

Have a look at late model cars next time you're at the wreckers. I found E series (EA, EB etc) Falcons in particular have more grommets than metal, especially around door jambs, under the sills and the boot floor.

The place in Sydney was called Peter Jackson's Old Rubber Company, now called spectrum rubber following an employee buyout. It's the same place I recommended to you in an earlier post. Not sure of the previous or current tie-in with Scotts.
