Dont know if this is a common problem. My "Low Beam lights have just stopped working. Seems too coin cidental that they have both stopped at the same time....unless they are in sequence (or whatever you call it). Should I be looking to check both globes or is it more likely the dimmer switch??? Thanks in advance as always Matt |

if you still have high beam, i would be guessing that you have a loose wire somewhere. It could be aat the switch or behind the dash, or it could be a break in the wire somewhere. Highly doubt that its both globes. Ryan |

Most likely either the dipswitch, or the low beam connector behind the grille is dirty or the blue/red feed wire popped out.. If it's dirty, I'd strip and clean em all. ![]() |

Are you using a foot or column mounted dipper switch? |

Earth is common for both the high beam and low beam on minis. So if H/B is working, then the earth is not at fault. |

Earth is common for both the high beam and low beam on minis. So if H/B is working, then the earth is not at fault. The trick is to chase the twelve volts with a multimeter. at both the common blue/red connection behind the grill near the bonnet lock mech. and then at the connections under the steering column inside the cabin. It will point to the problem. |

Fixed in 30 secs. It was the connector box behind the grille. I love this website. Saves me money everytime I log on. Cheers all, thanks for your help. |
