I'm intersted in putting together a list of MkII S chassis and bulkhead numbers. . .not strictly a register (as I know a lot of people dont like to have that sort of info listed in publicly accessible places) just a list of numbers, mainly aimed at seeing if there is any real order to the body vs chassis number difference. . .ie if it does increase from 500 in any meaningful order. . .
All I'm asking for is the number stamped on the radiator shroud (which should be the same as the one on your compliance plate if you have one) and the number that is stamped on the bulkhead behind the clutch master cylinder (or sometimes on the scuttle panel gutter above the wiper motor). I do not need engine numbers, rego numbers, names or addresses. . .
If you're worried about me doing nasty things with the numbers (I cant think what I would do but I'm sure some people have a better imagination than me. . .), then feel free NOT to send me the details of your car. . .
