Hi all,

I would assume that the roof size (dimensions) between a Clubbie and Roundie is the same - is this correct.

Just wondering about vinyl roof kits.

Cheers,
Rob.

Same all the way through production , right through to rovers . Only difference was Pommy shells had half moon shaped cutouts for drainage in the corner's and Aussie ones had two small holes drilled .

I knew a bloke here in Canberra that welded an 850 roof to his 78 Clubby. Welded it through the pillars so the front and rear windscreen were a touch hard to get in. Would never have guessed if he hadn't pointed it out!

Thanks for asking that question of the roofs sizes being the same Rob, it saves me posting it now.

I'm thinking about ditching the Britax sunroof in my GT & was looking at using a roof from a 1968 Deluxe.

Cheers Jeff. :)

Chequered roof kit with 7 year vinyl for $67.00 from ebay. I have a sunroof so will have to do some cutting around it but should be no worries.

Coming in from the UK via slow mail. Then have to repaint my mini first (hopefully April) and then I'll get them on.

Don't hold your breath waiting for pics :D

Cheers,
Rob.
