i was just wondering if it was dry or hydro?
jjust wondering because i got my new wheels, and i thought that it would have raised it, but it has seemed to lower it...

Get under ur car n have a look, its not hard to determine if u have wet or dry suspension. If u have put on lower profile tyres then it will lower ur car. |

Yes , at least it should have been when it left the factory 39 years ago ... Anything could have happened in that time though . Best to get someone to have a look at it if you aren't confident enough to ID it yourself , or put some photo's of the suspension up . |

Changing the wheels on the car won't change the height of the suspension, maybe the height of the car off the ground (if they are taller wheels say) or the appearance of height, but the suspension will be in the same relative position. If you had stocko steelies on and put 12x5 superlights, then the tyre will be filling the guard more and make the car look lower. Measure from the centre of the wheel to the edge of the guard (height) and post. Someone should be able to tell you if it is stock height or not. Regards Daniel |

You don't have to get under the car to tell if it's hydro or dry. Just pop the bonnet, and if there are hoses coming from the tops of the suspension towers, its hydro. |

Or simply look under the rear wheel arches. - helper springs = hydro, shockers = dry.

Just check your bump stops at the front. They should be about 1" clear (at least) of the upper control suspension arm. Makes the ride a tad more comfortable  .Otherwise, you may need a bit of a pump up.
