Took a lock strap to the paint place to see if I could get a colour formula. No luck - the guy claimed it was too shiney to give an accurate reading and it wasn't really big enough to be confident with the reading he did get.

Just got the engine mounting bracket off and it is all green so I'll have a go with that.

What I can report is that White Knight Hammer Tone Alpine Green and Dulux Forest Sage are the same colour only the White Knight is Hammer tone and the Dulux is solid colour. They are a little "greyer" than the original on my 4 sychro box which has more of a yellow tinge. When I get a reading and a formula I'll let you know.

I've had mine matched up and mixed, but they wouldn't give me the formula!!! :x
Did a test spray though, and they did a good job matching it.
Peter :)

Likewise, had mine matched just before christmas, no identification other than BMC/MG green and no code. Close enough to the original and certainly brightens up the engine.

I like.
Yes, all I got on the label was "cooper s engine to sample". No amount of pleading would get the formula - he said he didn't even write it down. :? The trouble with matching to samples is that your sample has to be correct to start with! I'm sure there are hundreds of versions of this colour around now anyway, so one more won't hurt!
I reckon mine is going to be a bit darker than yours going by my test spray, but hope it turns out as nice as yours.
Currently my rocker cover is chrome, so I will leave it that way.
Cheers
Peter. :)
