Hi all, i have a mk1 aprox 67 the original colour was a light blue, just wondering if anyone has a cooper s same era and colour?Might have been 1/indigo/2 blue or 1/marine/2 blue. Has any one got any pictures of these colours? if so thankyou would be helpful! cheers

Indigo blue is a dark blue , like this one (actually true indigo blue is a shade or two darker than this , my van is Indigo Blue according to it's body plate but the PO painted it this shade , look for the slightly darker patch on the front of the bonnet and where the bumper should be , that's Indigo blue .)

Closer to this colour maybe? This is shadow or surf blue.

this looks like the one anyone know what was written on the tag -/.........../- and paint code? Was this orig mk1 colour and what years was it used? cheers for any help!

Definitely used in 63 and I've seen it on a 65. Eleven Hundreds used it in 67. So I guess it was around quite a while.

Surf Blue was an English colour Shadow Blue definately 1963 as that's what mine is. see http://www.ozcooper.com.au/paint_codes.htm
