So On my birthday ( 5 march) some callous courier guy drove into the back of my mini van. He dented up the doors a bit but it is not to bad. I am getting these fixed and was wondering about getting some of the rust fixed in the back section also as he will have the right colour all ready and so forth. It is rusted in the bottom corners where the doors go on both sides and in the panel below that towards the beaver a bit also. I am a bit worried that this will cost a fortune. Can you get a panel like this? Would I have to find an old van and cut it out? Anyone got one? When the guy hit me he offered me 100 bucks and said we could not worry about insurance. The panel beater told me that it is about 1500 worth of work... I think he is dreaming personally but, meeh.... im not paying, his insurance is. David |

David I would clame on his insurance...As you have asked here..What would it cost Just to sttraight it out will cost more than $100...if you want any rust out also will be additional to you. But I would pay to get it done at the same time specialy whan you are colour matching |

sorry if i didnt explain properly. I am most definately claiming through his insurance. I was saying about the 100 bucks as it is funny that he offered me a hundred and the bill is 1500. I guess my question is if they hav an after market panel for the rear piece above the beaver panel area and below the doors to anyones knowledge. Thanks tho gafmo David |

 Hey floss. sorry to hear about your van. Why dont you give brenton a call from A Grade panels in west heidelberg he works on minis and also sells many parts inc rust repair sections. weevan purchased a rear valance panel from him a few months ago. good luck cheers mark

hey w33van, I did call them and they are doing the work. Just to give you a heads up, Brenton sold the business to a friend of his called geoff. He seems like a stand up guy and I will let oyu know how it all goes. Cheers DAVID |

brenton still runs a mini parts buisness, you can get panels from him but he doesnt do any bodywork anymore |
