Had the practice round for the Townsville Sprints on Saturday. Was a great day, learnt alot about the track, etc etc. Started off with 60.2 secs, then by the end of the day I had it down to 53.8's! Very proud of myself and Merlin! The track record is held by a r33 Skyline GTR at 40.3, my Rob holds second with 41.2 in our Evo so I think I did very well considering! Will keep you posted with the results and some pics when I get my hands on some. 1st round is in April, cant wait! |

Glad to see some older FWD cars are keeping the new 4WD cars honest. i'm sure you'll get faster with more practice. Most important thing is that your having fun. |

CONGRATULATIONS AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Great times in comparison to the R33 GTR and Evo. can we get a look under the bonnet? I'd love to see the engine bay. The car looks awesome, I'm sure with practice you'll get the times your hoping for. |

awww, thanks guys!!! Yes, Merlin used to be airbrushed on the front but over heating problems saw us put a bonnet scope on. So we bought a second bonnet and painted it, the airbrushed one is hanging in Dads garage! The engine bay is a shambles! needs a good clean! The circuit is the go-cart track outta town cant wait for round two! |

Round one of the Townsville Sprints. Great day with lots of cars! Merlin and I came 1st in Class! Best time of 52.48! Very proud! Here are 2 photos from the day!
