some old bitch who had a headache decided to plant the nose of her car about 4 inches into the boot of my mini along with basically the front of her car

I feel for you, at least with a shunt in the rear its usually always the person who ran into you's fault. Hope all goes well with the insaurance company. Hopefully it is fixable because 4" doesn't sound to bad, but I could be wrong.
