Howdy all, does anyone know if there is such a list that places engine No's with body No's for individual cars cooper's' in particular? If so you can put them up here or P.M. me if you like cheers!!

There is the Mini Owners Club list http://www.miniownersclub.com/enginebodynum.php but it is one of the poorer one's. Something to start on I guess.

Maybe if you ask Morris 1100 nicely he might share some of his information with you as he has the best info I have ever seen on this kind of thing.

Thanks for web sites guys but i'm trying to find out what engine number matched my car for its missing i.d tag probally impossible i know cheers!

That prefix on the sites will have numbers after it. Do you have a body number? The body number and engine number should be ABOUT 500 apart (I can't remember if the engine is about 500 infront or behind the body number). If you still have the body number there do some maths and work out a number. E.g. the engine in my car is the original engine and they are 528 apart.

Other than that I think this one is up to Morris 1100.
