I believe you shouldn't have too many troubles, as the later mini's were sold with 13's. From Personal experience QLD is pretty relaxed about that stuff too.... I wouldn't if your still using drums though, not enough braking power for the big wheels. give it a shot. And you can always say the 13's were a factory option for the later mini's

Believe me, if you're in Queensland you have nothing to worry about.

My brother recently bought a Mini and put it through "roadworthy" which involved a dodgy Indian bloke showing up with a clipboard, walking around the car twice, starting the engine (without driving the car) and sliding a 'sledgehammer' under the car to check ride height.

The car was too low, but this guy passed it anyway with the comment 'fix that before you register it, OK?', and handed over the certificate.

The car still had the factory-fitted windscreen, all pitted and scratched.

My dad also registered a Mini he was restoring, and got a roadworthy certificate issued over the phone without an inspection.

13 inch wheels won't be a problem...

<edit>

Badass.. just noticed you're in Caboolture. This inspector was in Morayfield, so if you need a cert-in-a-hurry without too many questions asked, send me a PM and I'll chase down his details for you :wink:
