If you can't get them off maybe the threads aren't as worn as you think (ahh yer, rust).
Remember: if all else fails, get a BFH.

The threads on my tie rods are worn and I am trying to remove the old one with no success. Any tricks other than penatrating oil and two spanners? |

I assume if you require two spanners you're at the hub end of the tie rod. No secrets, just put your back into it. |
