The threads on my tie rods are worn and I am trying to remove the old one with no success.

Any tricks other than penatrating oil and two spanners?

I assume if you require two spanners you're at the hub end of the tie rod. No secrets, just put your back into it.

If you can't get them off maybe the threads aren't as worn as you think (ahh yer, rust).

Remember: if all else fails, get a BFH. :D

Quick zap with the welder and they came straight off.
