hey my mini dosnt have any ID plate or a Compliance plate but i have the chassey number the year model on paper, what can i do ?? what do i do ?? i allready bought it and have had it 4 quite some time now and wasted some money on it ?? any ideas ?? |

Um, I don't think that you mean "trade plate" Depending on the year it will be an "ID" plate or a "Compliance" plate and for a short time there was no plate at all. Tell us the year and we may be able to help. If the car has been previously registered it may not need any plate (depending on the state regs) |

Trade plates are good to have if ur intending on driving the car around unregistered.... NO......... U dont have trade plates...... |

its a 1970 innocenti imported in from italy in 1996 |

It's an import, it won't have compliance plate but it should have numbers stamped on the body. Has it been complied? Do you have the DOTARS paperwork? Finally, where are you located? |

I'm no innocenti expert, however check the firewall at the top, and around the edge of boot. Out of curiousity, is your car still LHD? So you're in NSW, have a look at following under "Imported Vehicles", there is a link there to the DOTARS website. It should answer all your questions.

sorry what is LHD ?? the car is currently registerd in nsw just the i cant find any plates on the car.. |

LHD = left hand drive, Do you sit on the 'normal' side of the car of the 'other' side? Italy drive on the right, we drive on the left. Italy has LHD cars, we have RHD. |

And it's very likely you won't find any plates on the car as its an import. However now I'm confused, if you car is already registered, I don't understand what your concern is.

well my concern is that later im mite have problem with the car because it dosnt have any numbers on the car .. my car is RHD it was converted |
