Well here it is at some unbelievable hour, and I'm sitting here in my dark office, drinking my cup of tea, typing to you ausmini members. Given up trying to sleep and decided I might as well catch up on the posts. Of course I should be in Canberra at the show 'n shine but that wasn't to be. Instead I'm off to the Repco display tomorrow (oops, that's now today), and only if I can get my hubsand to stop that snoring (spelling?) and maybe get some sleep. There is another reason I can't sleep but I'll keep that a secret for now (Harley you may guess this one). I'll let you know more when it happens. It's sort of like thinking that Santa is bringing you your most wished for present but worried that it might not be what you expected. Oh well, I've probably rambled on enough and bored you all so I'll continue reading the rest of the posts. |

No secret. Just wanted to wait till I actually had taken possession of before I spilled the beans. I have just bought a 1993 Rover Cooper 1.3spi. Red with a white roof. Picked it up today. This will definitely be my daily driver. Jap spec so has air-con as well. Just need to install the stereo as the previous owner wanted to keep theirs. |

Nup... a Mini doesn't tow a trailer very well (especially when it doesn't have a tow ball). We were towing a car trailer to pick up 1/2 a clubman (thanks Rohan!). |

Thanks guys. Not sure which Mini I will take to Geelong. As far as the stereo goes, the Rover has to be able to carry all the shopping so their won't be any subs in the boot that's for sure. It has a 10" free air sub that came with it in the rear parcel shelf so that will probably have to do. At the moment there is no head unit and I need an amp so that may take a while to sort out. I'll post some pics up in the gallery soon. |
