HI all

I have fantastic news. The gentleman who used own Mini Kingdom has re opened in Narellan NSW. He is well know in the industry and I am sure he will provide a much needed and welcome service here in the western suburbs.

Should you want any details please let me know. :D :D :D :D

cos the rent is cheaper, which means his prices is cheaper, and he probably lives out that way now, and would rather you drive to him than him drive to work

It's probably quicker for you to get to Narellan gaf than it is to get to Padstow once you hop on the M7.

He's close enough to me - yay :D

I went I saw I was in Heaven.

This place has it all and I mean it all. He knows everything gave us some tips that we had never heard of and was really helpful. Even got go out the back and see all the goodies. Oh my what a find. To think I knew about this sort of since last year and my daughter had been there but neve let us know what is was really like boo hoo.

He is a fab guy and has a w house of goodies that he saved from when he owned Mini Kingdom. Believe me you have to go there.

Happy Happy happy Happy

You mean John Shmidt?

Back when I was 17 I managed to blow the gearbox in my Mini Deluxe. I went over to Mini Kingdom with every penny I had, just enough to purchase an exchange reco box. When I got there I was $15 short cos I'd forgotten about the gaskets and primary gear bearing! I counted and re-counted my money on his counter, scrounged through my Dad's car for extra change, but I just didn't have enough. :(

John said "That'll do, don't worry." and let me go with everything I needed. I've never forgotten that act of kindness.

Up until he closed up the old store I used to visit every time I was in Sydney and usually walked out with lots of stuff. :)

There are more car registraions per capita in C'town than anywhere else in Aust. Unfortunately these are more c'dores and exsells than bumw and porchers

It makes more sense to have Mini specialists spread out than when Carclinic and Kingdom were so close before, even Karcraft used to be in Padstow.

We used to have a large local Mini following 'round Ctown but lack of close spares places meant that most people lost interest. Going by the amount of Minis I see around town now, esp with young persons driving, it should be good.

I went out and saw John today :D the place still has a bit of work to be done out front but he is operational and its whats out the back that counts. I tried to get into a mini gem in the workshop which had us both rolling round the floor geez those things are tiny.

John mentioned putting on a BBQ or something and giving people a look around out the back to show and explain what he has to offer so I will organise a run once he suggests a time and day. It was a good drive down camden vally way out past oran park.

Will keep you posted on a run.

Steve
