Prices here in NZ seem a bit steep as I only really know of 2 places that sell these....where do you guys in Aussie buy your ones from?? Thinking along the line of the 57i K&N type setup for a spi motor.

SInce SPI cars are more of a rarity over here parts are less likely to comeby, especially cheap. That goes for the aftermarket stuff too. I can only say suss out Brickworx in South Australia. :D

Hmmmm....tried the UK as well & it seems they are a similar price as here in NZ so I guess I'll have to fork out the $ if I want one :)

Now to decide if I want a replacement filter or an actual 57i type setup?

didn't even know there was such a thing.... wouldn't the best aftermarket replacement manifold be a nice 7" weber manifold, with the weber attached???

hi, try www.aptfast.com
they have heaps of parts for a mini. they are based in the us but the current currancy rate makes buying from the us very cheap.
i got normal postage and i only took 4 days.
have a look.

what parts do you need? just a manifold?

with the 57i you loose some power at the bottom and don't gain much at the top. but the sound is nice

Heya

Well I was going to get rid of the OEM air filter & put one of the 57i K&N unit's on but I may end up swapping my Mini with my father in law's & selling my one, his already has the intake done so probably not required now :)
