 had an accident today and looks like tinys off the road for a few weeks, im so sick of these roads and the designs... smashed the back rim broke the engine mount smashed the inlet manifold off as well soon as i hit the gutter and also all the sump is hit hard as well havent been able to drive him at all had to get towed home and now cause the manifold is stuffed he wont idle for me looks like i might be missing out on the dyno run

I am really sad to hear that a fellow mini-er smashed their pride and joy... hope you get it fixed soon and your happy again! What do you mean? How did the road smash your car? Ive smashed many and I can pretty much say when there was no other car involved it was my fault

lol the road goes to the right hand turn and the road goes on a downslope and cause of this an oil sleak spread all over the corner which there for cause me to spin out and hit a 30cm high gutter thats why i hate the design lol, and for the record i wasnt driving fast i was actually going slower then 50 cause of the rain and the lady infront of me started to slide aswell so i try to avoid her by turning out of the way and and i ended up hitting the sleak aswell ending me up on the foot path

Must have been all the horsepower sweat that leaked from the other cars  (that's what your sig. says!).
Hope it's not to bad mate, a good excuse to really get your hands dirty now! |

Sorry to hear you bent your Mini. For some reason I saw MANY near misses on the road today. Do people forget how to drive when the road is wet? I think so! |

speed wasnt a factor in this incident, i was going about 45km/h the problem was the car next to me, there was another car involved but the lady driver had caused it herself she was infront of me in the right lane as we came around the corner i noticed she was begining to slide out towards me so i try to avoid her by moving away as i did this i also hit the oil sleak and causing us into a spin, she was luckily to only clip the gutter but cause i was the closer to the gutter there was no way out except straight into it, there was nothing i can do. doesnt bother me whether u believe me or not morris 1100 factor is that even when u are driving easy on the road and taking it slow u can still end up in an accident the accident was on the corner of stoney creek rd and king georges rd near the autostyles dealership and i was coming out of stoney creek rd if u have ever travelled around that corner u will see how dangerous it is not only for the wet but in dry weather as well |

Sorry to hear of ur stack, What matters is ur ok, the mini can always be fixed. Morris 1100 got any mates? |
