Wats the longest length wheel studs available for Mini? I know that having a wide track is hard on wheel bearings....but who cares. Ive already got spacered drums on the rear with long wheel studs but now that i have the Honda Brakes up front, it looks like the rears need to have the track widened a bit more... So was thinking about fitting an 8mm spacer. But the studs i have are not long enough.

Mite of found it... Mini Mania lists S studs as 2 1/4in (5.715cm), but they have extra long studs at 2 3/8in (6.032cm)...

MiniSpares, UK sells ENJO-1040 wheel studs, 78mm long with 27mm thread.
i use them with the spacered drum and additional 25mm spaceres, BTW not more wheelbearing problems than before

I have some of the 78mm studs on the rear of my car. (see pic)
The ones on the left are regular S type ones, and the ones on the right are the newies.
:D

Some of our imports come in with spacer drums on the rear
and then 30mm bolt on spacers on the end of that.
And the wheel bearings are noisy

If running longer studs, I'd bung S tapered roller bearings in there.

BTW stay away from those horrid hexagonal `screw on' extension studs and the spacers that suit them. They should ban them from import and sale, they are an accident waiting to happen. :x
